Bye Bye Ben Ali!

Billboards featuring the face of Zine El Abidine Ben Ali were everywhere in Tunis and across Tunisia, prior to his popular overthrow in 2011 that launched the Arab Spring. The sub-text of these billboards was pretty clear: I am watching you. After decades of corruption and oppression, Ben Ali and his family fled the revolution and continue to hide in Saudi Arabia, evading lifetime prison sentences in Tunisia.
